Cindy Sheehan and Lynn Woolsey
source
Lynn Woolsey isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and she's earned that reputation the hard way; year
after year of coming with one thing after another to say or do that proves her idiocy. In 2003, she wrote
to a judge, requesting leniency for the son of one of her staffers who had committed a brutal rape. She
later had to apologize and as an excuse said "she was not privy to the facts of the case". You can get
the details here.
In other words, it was a knee-jerk reaction to a request from an underling. She didn't feel the need to
learn the facts before acting. That's how she handles political issues, too.
It was Woolsey who gave up her ticket to President Bush's State of the Union address so that Crazy Cindy
could go in her place and cause a disruption. She knew exactly what Sheehan was going to wear to the event
because she saw the t-shirt when the photo above was taken, just hours before the event.

She later defended Crazy Cindy's antics as "free speech". So "free speech" would also cover someone who
gate-crashes a wedding and the jumps up and yells "I hope your children are born ugly and stupid"? (BTW,
doesn't Cindy own ANY clothes that don't have something printed on them?)
In May of 2006, Cindy repaid the favor by appearing at a Woolsey fundraiser in Seattle, Washington. That
event in itself was a bit odd, considering that Woolsey's district in Sonoma and Marin counties in
California. And the venue for the event? Why it was Prag Hall, home of the People's Revolutionary Action
Group. 'Nuff said.
