Is there anyone with whom Cindy Sheehan won't meet just to get another photo-op? The answer is "NO". Crazy Cindy flew down to Caracas to hang out with Harry Belafonte (who called American President George Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world"), Danny Glover and Cornel West, but the high point of her sojourn had to be meeting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. He sees America and Capitalism as diseases of which the world needs to be cured. Neither Sheehan, Belafonte or Glover want to live in a Communist state, but they are willing to endorse Chavez to get face-time in front of the cameras. Danny Glover was there strictly for ideological reasons. Unlike Belafonte and Sheehan, he actually has a career. As for West, well, let's just say he's celebrating 40 years of utter irrelevance, preaching to easily impressed scions of the wealthy at Princeton University.

For Cindy, it was her second meeting with a head-of-state, proof that she now has "star power".

She describes Chavez as "a man with a big heart, who loves his people and wants to see South America united. He's funny, warm and articulate. The people of Venezuela love Hugo."
